Culture for One
Culture For One organizes and takes a small group of children or a single child living in foster care to experience a theatrical, music, or dance performance or to visit a museum or a company involved in culture. They also provide arts scholarships, workshops, career connections, and creative projects, as well as individual encouragement and support.
Culture For One’s mission is to inspire New York City children living in foster care by providing cultural experiences and exposure to a broader world.
Tragedy Assistance Program for survivors
The Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) offers compassionate care to all those grieving the loss of a military loved one. Since 1994, TAPS has provided comfort and hope 24/7 through a national peer support network and connection to grief resources, all at no cost to surviving families and loved ones.

The news literacy project
The News Literacy Project works with educators and journalists to teach middle school and high school students how to sort fact from fiction in the digital age. NLP provides these students with the essential skills they need to become smart, active consumers of news and information and engaged, informed citizens.
